The Best Shows on TV

The Best TV Shows on TV – TV’s Moments of Joy: Good Thing I Brought My Axe-Cane!

Mr. Sunshine–Ben was starting to actually care about other people’s problems this week, and it freaked him out.  Plus, Smurfs on Ice was playing the Sunshine Center, and Crystal was sort of irrationally angry about it.  Turns out she’s a failed ice dancer, and Ben paid off Papa Smurf to dance with her, center ice.  It was pretty much a visual gag, but it’s not every day you see Allison Janney ice dancing with a Smurf.

Celebrity Apprentice – We’ll have a lot to say in the upcoming recap of TV’s weirdest show, but one of the funniest moments came when the men’s team had to pick a name.  Survivor’s Richard Hatch actually brought a list of names along with him, because he is absolutely the guy who stayed up at night preparing for Celebrity Apprentice.  But it all fell apart early on when everybody ignore his Lisa Simpson-esque list in favor of Gary Busey’s ramblings.  There will never be a time when we don’t want to see Richard Hatch looking disappointed.  And for just a moment, there was a chance that we’d have a team called “The Sperm Farmers” for an entire season.

  2. Thank you! And that’s a nice Raising Hope write-up on your blog! That wasn’t a show I expected to be as good as it is, and I just love it every week.

Thanks for reading – based on your blog, it looks like we enjoy a lot of the same shows. We’re TV Buddies!
