Survivor – The whole “Redemption Island” gimmick is really entertaining, and this season is off to a good start. Of course, we’re having a hard time keeping everybody straight this early in the season, except of course for Farmer Ralph and his natural man-sweater. This week, aside from “secret agent” Phillip’s increasing weirdness, there was a real standout moment when Russell lost the Redemption Island duel. Frankly, Russell is pretty hard to take – he’s a bully who thinks he makes for fascinating TV. And the Survivor producers are only too happy to indulge him with his third appearance in four seasons. This time, his tribe realized that he had only one trick and voted him out in the third week. And when it came time for the duel, Matt beat him and Russell was out.
Okay, I loved Raising hope this week. I thought the Brother Husbands was classic. I just posted a blog about that before reading this.
Also I am going to have check out Justified on Fx.
