Stephen, who actually has a pretty decent voice, kicked off the song with a hilarious bluesy rendition, until he really got into it and it was pure, lunatic karaoke. An auto-tuned Jimmy joined in, and then Taylor Hicks took over. Finally, the Knicks City Dancers took the stage, along with a beekeeper, a Yeti, and a guy we’re reasonably certain was The Todd on Scrubs. It was amazing. And it raised a heck of a lot of money for a good cause.
Lights Out – Before we get into the traditional Lights Out Moment of Soul-Crushing Despair, we’d rather talk about the actual Moments of Joy in the season (and sadly, series) finale. And while we usually write these in the first-person plural (thus creating the impression that Myndi cares about Batman a whole lot), it’s going to be easier to express the emotional roller coaster of the finale if EJ writes this one as himself.
