So what made us happy on TV this week? Check it out and be amazed!
Saturday Night Live – We’ll admit, this wasn’t exactly a classic episode. It did, however, have its moments. We’re still giggling at the fake BBC sitcom, Fancy a Jar, Do You?, as well as Andy Samberg’s Nicolas Cage impression. But the best sketch of the night came early on, when Will Forte returned to do another ESPN Classic parody with Jason Sudeikis. We missed Twinkle and Stink, and we missed Forte even more. Even better, Tom Hanks showed up, for some reason or another, as Stink’s equally clueless brother. It was great to see the Sudeikis/Forte team back in action, reminding us once again that few things in this world are funnier than Will Forte with a fake mustache. (Hey, TV networks! Can you make a Will Forte show happen? If so, please know that we love you. Thanks.)
