The Best TV Shows on TV – TV’s Moments of Joy: The Burn Unit

Unsurprisingly, I spend a lot of time mulling this over on any given day.  What would happen if Batman met the Venture Bros.’ bodyguard in heated combat?  The Dark Knight vs. the Swedish Murder Machine – who wins?

Obviously, there’d have to be some sort of misunderstanding leading up to the fight.  In ideal circumstances, these two would work together.  But if it came down to it, I’d give Brock the early advantage.  He approaches every fight with the goal of killing or maiming his opponent, which means he’s going to come out of the gate strong.  As the fight went on, I see it gradually turning to Batman’s advantage – Brock’s not used to fights that he can’t win instantly, and I think that would shake him up.  Besides that, Batman is Hank Venture’s hero, and I think that would make Brock pull his punches.  Ultimately, I give Batman the win, but it’s a squeaker.  And then they sort out the misunderstanding and Batman recruits Brock to be the SPHINX liaison for Batman, Inc.
