TV’s Moments of Joy 2: Electric Boogaloo (May 7-13)

9. Top Chef Masters – This week, Simpsons creator Matt Groening, along with voice actor Hank Azaria and writer-producer Matt Selman, judged the Quickfire competition. The challenge? Create a meal to appeal to a randomly selected Simpsons character. So Lisa ended up with a vegetarian feast, while Chief Wiggum got bacon-fried dough and spiked coffee. (And the poor guy who picked Marge, well, he speaks English as a second language and did not know that there was such a thing as The Simpsons.) Quickfires are always fun, and it was a blast watching the Simpsons team make jokes about gourmet food. And let it be know that there is never a time when we aren’t happy to see Hank Azaria. The man is a national treasure.
