6. The Ricky Gervais Show – This HBO series, an animated version of Ricky Gervais’ podcasts, has been delightful. The podcasts were hilarious to begin with, and the Hanna-Barbera style art fits it perfectly. The real star here is, of course, Karl Pilkington. The, as Ricky puts it, “Round-headed buffoon” who seems to be unfamiliar with common expressions and basic truisms is absolutely hilarious. His best moment this week came when he talked about how he’d like to be a teacher “Tell ‘em about 2 and 2, sure, but also freak them out a bit.” His example of how he’d freak them out? “The washing machine on the moon. How’d it get there?” Ricky and co-host Stephen Merchant are stunned that Karl not only thinks that there is a washing machine on the moon, but that he assumes it’s something that everybody’s heard about.

7. Lost – There are several things that we love unconditionally. These things include Lost, Muppets, and references to Arrested Development. So we pretty much lost it when we saw this video, in which Rizzo the Rat hassles Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, and also manages to reference AD. Plus, an appearance by Pelt Baby!
