TV’s Moments of Joy – Christmas Attack Zone!

The Simpsons – In 22 seasons, we thought we’d seen it all.  But this year’s holiday episode of The Simpsons brought us a series of short stories, including a very cool live action bit with Muppet Simpsons.  We saw our favorite family, Moe, and Mr. Burns in puppet form, with Muppet-style gags and a laugh track.  It even had Grandpa Simpson and Jasper sitting in the balcony and mocking them, just like Statler and Waldorf.  And like the Muppets, they had a celebrity guest – Katy Perry as Moe’s new girlfriend.  It was a fun bit, and puppet Mr. Burns still cracks us up.  Just make sure you stop watching before Perry goes for the oral sex joke in the last seconds of the episode.  Maybe Sesame Street had the right idea after all…
