TV’s Moments of Joy – Christmas Attack Zone!

Tim and Eric Awesome Show, Great Job! – While the series ended earlier this year (when all the regulars died from drinking tainted breast milk), everybody came together for a one-hour Chrimbus special.  Yes, Chrimbus.  When people stand in line to sit on Winter Man’s lap and tell him what presents they want.  While Tim and Eric aren’t for everybody – you’ll either find them puerile or hilarious, with no in-between – this was a lot of fun.  The best material came from Adult Swim’s promotion where the DVD of the special went on sale as soon as it finished airing.  So they worked satirically blatant plugs for the DVD into most of the sketches.  So if you buy the DVD, you’ll see Tim and Eric exhorting you to buy the DVD that you are actually watching.  That has to be a first.  Also, we’re pretty sure this was the first holiday special ever to incorporate a guillotine.  We’ve also got to single out Zach Galifianakis, who reprised his role as overworked actor Tarrey Greene.  (“Yep, it’s semen.”)  All that and Dr. Steve Brule, too!  It was a Chrimbus miracle!
