TV’s Moments of Joy: Elvis Costello Dog

Andy Bernard was the first person to leap to my mind, for all the reasons you cited.  Ed Helms deserves to go on to more big things when The Office concludes.

I’m going to go old school on you now.  Did you know that Jo (Nancy McKeon) did not join the cast of The Facts of Life until the second season?  There was no way that show went on for as long as it did without her tomboyish tendencies, three-pronged ponytail and her interactions with Lisa Welchel’s Blair.  And I’ll stand by that.
