The Colbert Report / The Daily Show – We love Comedy Central’s block of fake news and punditry.Monday, Stephen Colbert was sick, but he did his show anyway.And in true Colbert fashion, he went over the top with it.He hosted the show from an easy chair, wearing a robe and slippers.And the man really looked (and sounded) sick – it clearly wasn’t a bit he was doing.Stephen ran a previously unaired video piece, and conducted a couple of interviews (Including one with Paul Krugman.Between this and his cameo in Get Him to the Greek, Krugman is officially the coolest economist on the planet.).So while the show was short on mock outrage, it was, as Stephen himself would say, long on balls.And hey, he even got in some product placement:“Gatorade:Is it in you?Because it won’t be in me for very long.”
