TV’s Moments of Joy: Kisses Feel Like Punishment
Hot in Cleveland–We haven’t brought up this sitcom in a few weeks, but it’s continuing to cement its place as The Golden Girls of 2010. Plus, this week, Betty White’s Elka was the only one who could decipher a text message that turned out to be “I hate you, douchebag.” So, there’s that!
The Teen Choice Awards–Kind of out of our wheelhouse, but due to the presence of the cast of Glee, we were drawn to this meaningless fete of all the things teens like. As EJ asked, “How long does it take to give all the awards to Twilight?” The answer is approximately two hours; but they did manage to give us a much needed infusion of Chris Colfer, Mark Salling, Corey Monteith and Kevin McHale, not to mention Jane Lynch, accepting the award for Best Comedy. Plus, Sandra Bullock and Betty White danced, which is always welcome.
