TV’s Moments of Joy: Kisses Feel Like Punishment

But my favorite show of all time, that ran for only 18 episodes back in 1999/2000 was Freaks & Geeks and I’d positively die if it could somehow pick up where we left it.  We’d see the fallout from Lindsey ditching the academic summit to follow The Dead with Kim Kelly all summer; the further repurcussions of Neal’s parents’ divorce; and see if Daniel’s foray into the world of Dungeons & Dragons made him a geek for good.   There were so many great stories left to tell with this group of teens–and their parents–that I’d even take a movie that flashed us back through the years. I’d trust creator Paul Feig and his collaborator, Judd Apatow, to do it perfectly.  No pressure!
