TV’s Moments of Joy: Kisses Feel Like Punishment

There is another show that couldn’t pick up exactly where it left off, because the teen actors are well into their twenties now, but there’s no reason we couldn’t revisit the cast of Once & Again to see how Rick, Lily and their mixed brood have fared.  Grace, Zoe, Eli and Jessie have all gotten past their awkward phases (and Evan Rachel Wood now plays a freakin’ vampire queen!) but that would just give Ed Zwick and Marshall Herskovitz a chance to tell some really different stories; maybe give Parenthood a run for its money in the family drama department.  I just remember weeping at the finale, as this show ended way, way too soon.
