TV’s Moments of Joy: Otev, the Broadway Clam

Futurama – It was the season finale this week, and also the 100^th episode. (If you count the DVD movies as four episodes each, which is how Comedy Central runs them.) And for the first time ever, fans didn’t have to worry about Futurama ’s fate at the end of the season, since the next batch of episodes is already in production. Episode 100 had Leela being outed as a Sewer Mutant and exiled, a guest appearance from Devo, and one of the best sight gags in the history of the series as Bender ran twice around a planet to build up enough steam to jump over a bridge – that he had to cross twice previously. Great season guys, and we’re eagerly awaiting your return!
