The Daily Show – We can always count on Jon Stewart and company to keep us entertained. Jon interviewed Ricky Gervais and Paul Rudd, who were delightful. But our favorite moment this week came from John Oliver and Olivia Munn bringing us a British monarchy-themed home shopping sketch. The two had great chemistry, and we’d like to see them pair up more often.

Big Bang Theory–We might have been missing our favorite NBC comedies this week, but at least we had this laugh out loud episode to ease the pain. Penny’s now dating Zack, the guy who recently stirred Amy Farrah Fowler’s loins.
He’s a nice guy, and he wants to be friends with Leonard and the gang. But, they make fun of him. When Penny scolds them, the guys invite Zack to the comic book store, where he picks out a few issues of Archie and proclaims himself all set for his “weekend number twos.” Seizing an opportunity to win a New Year’s Eve costume contest, they recruit Zack to be the Superman in their Justice League group costume (and Penny to be Wonder Woman, which takes a lot more convincing). It makes for some incredibly funny sight gags, including Raj as Aquaman (riding a seahorse), Howard as a pint-sized Batman and Sheldon as The Flash. We can’t really do it justice in print.
