The Office – Know who Dunder Mifflin’s newest employee is? Timothy Olyphant! That’s right, the star of Deadwood and Justified came to Scranton as Danny Corddry, the best salesman in the game. It was really great to see a normal guy suddenly get tossed into Michael Scott’s world – Olyphant played it real, and as a result, it was hilarious. He brought out the best in the rest of the cast, too – Michael’s “Do you want your life to be better?” speech was just ridiculous, Meredith had her best scene in years with her attempt to seduce Danny, and since Danny and Pam used to date, Jim was delightfully awkward around him. And now that he’s Dunder Mifflin’s new traveling salesman, hopefully we’ll get to see more of him in future episodes.
