Raising Hope – This was actually a repeat of the pilot this week, but there was a great joke that we missed the first time through. Now, remember that Hope is created by Greg Garcia, the same guy who gave us My Name is Earl. So, in one scene, there was a TV in the background and we heard the newscaster say “In other news, a former small-time crook trying to make amends for his crimes has crossed the last item off his list, and you won’t believe how it happened….” So even though we didn’t get to see it, at least we know that Earl Hickey made good.
