Dirty Jobs – Mike Rowe returned for a new season of wallowing in filth this week. He went to an exotic animal ranch, and if you’ve ever watched Dirty Jobs, you know that Mike is at his best when working with animals, mostly because of the poo. And man, was there plenty of it on display here. The best part, though, was seeing the baby albino kangaroos. There is seriously nothing more adorable than a baby kangaroo.
Saturday Night Live with Jane Lynch was a decent outing overall, but Jane really stepped up to the plate and delivered. Her monologue, wherein she created and sang a Sue-centric Glee theme song, was genius. We also loved the “Damn, my mom’s on facebook!” sketch. Oh, and Andy Samberg as Mark Zuckerberg was a riot. Plus, Bruno Mars was kind of awesome as the musical guest. However, we could have easily done without stupid Gilly in the obligatory Glee sketch, which had some potential. With hosts Emma Stone and Jon Hamm coming up the next two weeks, we have high hopes that it’ll hit its stride.
