Parenthood–This week’s Halloween episode was a great ensemble effort, as usual, with the whole Braverman clan rallying around Max for his first Trick or Treating experience. Kristina’s standard overbearing, overanxious nature was sort of exhausting, but we’re not parents of a child with Aspergers. The subplot with little Sydney wanting to dress as a beauty queen was adorable, and we continue to love Dax Shepard as Crosby, despite our better judgement. We’re even sort of intrigued by Sarah’s romance with her boss, played by Billy Baldwin. And we take her daughter Amber’s Halloween costume–a banana–as a shoutout to Arrested Development, on which Mae Whitman had a recurring role. Please watch this show!
