Detroit 187–This week we had a dead transient and a dead movie star, and both were sad tales of woe. What made us happy was Michael Imperioli’s Louis Fitch, who finally received a call at the station from his son in New York, Bobby, who’s planning to come to Detroit for a visit. It’s a testament to Imperioli’s abilities that after only half a season, we’re completely invested in this character, and all but wept with joy for the guy getting to see his kid, whom he clearly adores and misses. We’re not sure if this show can avoid cancellation, but we’re still holding out hope that ABC will wise up and realize they have no shows that appeal to dudes and keep this on the schedule.
