Human Target – The second season has so far been a heck of a lot more fun than the first. We think the influx of writers who used to work on Chuck really made the difference, because there’s a humor that just wasn’t there before. Adding a couple of regular female characters helped, too. Season One was pretty much just Christopher Chance and the Babe of the Week. This week’s episode was especially fun, because it brought us guest-star Tony Hale (best known as Buster Bluth on Arrested Development). While Chance and Ilsa were dealing with guys with rocket launchers, that left Winston, Guerrero, and Ames to deal with Hale’s fussy (and hilarious) paranoia. It’s not going to make you forget The Wire or anything, but Human Target is getting better and funnier. Plus, like we said, there are rocket launchers.
