But it’s Whitford who really makes it something special. He plays Dan Stark, a washed-up cop with a bad reputation, still coasting on that big case he broke in the 80’s. Dan Stark starts out over the top and never looks back. He’s needlessly violent, frequently drunk, and hilariously unfamiliar with technology. It’s such a funny performance, and it’s just human enough to keep the show from going off the rails entirely. The new season starts in just a couple of weeks, and we can’t wait to see Dan return and start running over petty criminals with his car again.
Team Wipeout – Yes, we love watching people fall down, and we love the new obstacles like “Plank in the Face”, or the one where they pick one of three doors, but behind every door is a giant hammer. You can’t deny it, that stuff is fun! And it’s even more fun because of the team of commentators.
