I think the best sketch of the night had to be “The Miley Cyrus Show”, starring new Not Ready for Primetime Player Vanessa Bayer. I’ve been aware of Miley for a long time, being the parent of a 7 year old girl, but it’s nice to know all of you non-parents can join me in my misery now. Especially since this impression is exactly how Miley acts in every interview. She’s insanely self- absorbed and vapid, and Vanessa nailed her. One of the other newcomers played Johnny Depp (who Miley’s been a fan of since waaaaaaaay back in the Willy Wonka days!) and that was spot on, too. Plus, Bryan as Billy Ray? Hi-larious! (mw)
