Project Runway–This is actually about last week’s episode, since we weren’t able to screen this week’s before our deadline. This season is shaping up to have some talented designers, and even though he’s clearly an unusual guy, Mondo is kicking butt lately. His personal story is the stuff of reality show producers’ dreams as well. And it’s just proof positive that you can’t script certain things, like Mondo’s revelation–first in the confessional and then on the runway during the judging–that his print was developed around his 10 year struggle with being HIV Positive. You had to be impressed by his courage, and moved by what he’s endured on every level. To top it all off, his design was was far and away the best of the bunch and he won the challenge.
