Most of the major cast make their first appearances here. It’s the first appearance of Dr. Venture, Hank and Dean Venture, Brock Samson, HELPeR, the Monarch, Dr. Girlfriend, and Henchman 24. 24 isn’t specifically identified by name, but there’s a henchman in a few scenes with his exact voice. Looking back, I’m surprised to see that Doc doesn’t wear his signature speed-suit in the first episode – he appears throughout in his “trying to get laid” suit. Also, this is the one and only time we see him teaching a class. But we’ll get to all that in the official recap!
