—While this is only a fantasy scene, this is still the first appearance of Molotov Cocktease. We’ll get more background on her in the next few episode, but if you’ve been reading the recaps, you know what a huge part she plays in the Season Four finale.
ORPHEUS: Did you say an orphan?!
DOC: Yeah. A little… orphan boy.
ORPHEUS: It’s powered by a forsaken child?
DOC: Might be. Kind of. I mean, I didn’t use the whole thing!
Orpheus and Doc debate the ethics of the Joy Can, as well as the poor design decision to put the lock on the inside. Hank and Dean, wearing tinfoil hats, enter the Joy Can to save Brock. They see the image of their dog, Scamp. Doc and Orpheus now have to get the bots out, too. Orpheus tries an incantation, which opens every other door in the Compound. In the Can, Hank and Dean watch Brock fight and make out. Dean has a plan that begins with getting his shirt wet.
