–Two things. First, the bit where the Captain first sees the ghost and stutters a bit before crying “No way!” is my friend Sean’s favorite thing ever on this series. Second, the Batman walkie-talkie used by one of the pirates is, I believe, the first Batman reference in the series. Later, we’ll see that Hank is a big fan.
“Hank, are you certain it isn’t just a guy in a rubber mask messing with you?” – Dr. Orpheus
Cut to Dr. Orpheus, who is using his magic powers to prepare dinner when the phone rings. It’s Hank calling for his help. Meanwhile, Doc is still stuck between two rocks. The cockpit has cracked and it’s letting in water. Back on the boat, Orpheus has consulted Jonas’ records to determine that the ghost is Major Tom. He instructs Hank to call Major Tom’s widow. Hank calls her and we see that she’s gone on to marry Action Man. Cut to Brock, swimming away from the pirate ship that he’s burned down.
