–You know, there aren’t many episodes that are actually about the Ventures going out to have an adventure and then actually having an adventure. Most of that stuff takes place offscreen, and we usually see them when they’re on the way home, or we see the downtime between adventures. So this episode is kind of an oddity. It’s awesome, though. One of my favorites. If somebody ever hired me to write a Venture Bros. comic book (Hey, Metalocalypse has one! There’s a precedent!), I think this episode is a pretty good template to approach it. It’s not steeped in continuity – it’s just an adventure that goes horribly awry. (And for what it’s worth, I would write a Venture Bros. comic for free.)
