–Now that’s how you do a fight scene! I absolutely love the way that the fight cuts from past to present so smoothly. It’s so well-executed, right down to the cut from Brock knocking out Doc’s tooth to the Action Man’s dentures falling out.

The episode ends on a flashback, with Brock leaving school after losing his scholarship. And as quoted, he has a message for Rusty.
–So, the day Brock accidentally killed Tommy and freaked out was the same day Jonas Venture died. That was kind of a big day. And note that even though Jonas’ death is still really vague, the timeline makes total sense. They established in “Ice Station Impossible” that Doc only passed Impossible’s class on a sympathy D because his father died during the semester.
