So this week, we finally meet the original Team Venture. We met Action Man a few weeks back, but this week we finally get to know the guys a little. And hey, special guest voice this week. Mike Sorayama is voiced by Steve Park, who’s best known as the Asian guy on In Living Color, but in my heart, he’ll always be Mike Yanagita from Fargo.
Ready for the horrors of Doc’s college days?

The episode opens with a funeral. We cut to the X-1, where Doc, Brock, and the boys, all in mourning attire, are running late. Apparently, they were delayed when they stopped to save the Ant People. Doc accidentally kicks the controls while pulling on his pants, forcing the plane down in the cemetery. They slide right through the funeral, even impaling the coffin with the X-1’s nose. Once they’ve come to a halt, the terrified priest directs them to the Sorayama funeral.
