–That Dr. Venture quote is one of my favorite lines from the series. I try to say “waylaid by jackassery” at every opportunity. I like the bit about helping the Ant People, because I love it when an episode begins on the way home from an adventure. There’s something inherently funny about that. (Also, note that Brock apparently had sex with the ant queen. That guy gets around.) And I might as well mention it now, the character of Mike Sorayama is named after a sci-fi painter (Hajime Sorayama) who mostly did paperback book covers, almost all of which featured sexy robots.
