Sorayama’s funeral is not well-attended. Other than the Ventures, the only other attendees are Pete White and a group of shadowy veiled women in the back. Hank asks how Doc knows this guy, which prompts a flashback to college. Mike was Doc’s friend back then, and he was a little star-struck by Doc’s famous dad. Mike mentions an interest in robotics, before Pete shows up to make fun of him. (Pete was a DJ at the college radio station.) The boys interrupt the flashback with questions, and then Doc gets around to telling them who his roommate was – Brock Samson.
