So that’s my largely selfish reason for recapping from the beginning. I want people to come along for the ride, and I want the moment where 21 finally accepts his friend’s death to hit them the way it does me. Maybe I can put into words why I think all of this matters.
And hey, maybe somebody will read the retro-recaps and fill me in on the dozens of alt-rock references that are going over my head. Dr. Strange and The Pick-Up Artist are within my wheelhouse, but I know I’m missing some perfectly good music jokes. So, you know, help a brother out!
