–Hank is pretty adorable in the henchman outfit. And it’s such a great, bizarre idea that Brock is wrecking up the Cocoon to give Monarch some excitement for his birthday. It’s such a sweet thing to do for one’s archenemy. Some neat recurring jokes start here. Billy can never find anybody to return his high-five, and Brock is not even slightly attracted to Dr. Girlfriend. They’ll get some mileage out of these jokes as the years go on.

Brock and the Monarch face off. The Cocoon is wrecked, both men are covered in blood. Brock holds a shard of glass to Dr. Girlfriend’s neck, while Monarch has a gun pointed at him. He puts the gun to Hank’s head, and then a call comes from Doc. Everybody scrambles to clean up. Doc tries to reschedule, but he’s alarmed at all the blood and disarray. Monarch assures him that they had a party, and they agree to meet up at the Amazon. They pick up exactly where they left off, with the heroes tied up. As the Monarch orders they be dropped into the river, a pained Hank calls time out.
