There was a real twisted joy to watching this episode, trying to put the pieces in order. Since I know what a CGC Rating refers to, I think I might have had a leg up in making sense of it on the first viewing. It was really clever in the way they didn’t introduce Marvel Comics until the end, so you go through the episode without the Rosetta Stone that unlocks the cryptic references. This was an ambitious approach to storytelling, and I love them for it.
