Venture Brothers — “Blood of the Father, Heart of Steel”

While I hate to see the family broken up like this, creators Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer are really willing to throw a lot of new ideas out there and take some risks. I’ll be honest, the fact that Brock has already been replaced by Sgt. Hatred in the opening theme kind of breaks my heart. He did have some great scenes in this episode though, so I’m optimistic. I’m hoping that next week is Monarch-heavy though. Nothing makes me laugh harder than the Monarch.
