–And another wow. I love the way that it actually comes down to Brock talking about feelings, and realizing that some people are never going to change. He’s grown a lot over the last season or two, and he can’t go back. This is such good writing here – it’s a real emotional turning point for Brock. It isn’t explained in any real detail here, but Molotov has been wearing a chastity belt since before she first met Brock, and he’s always wanted to prove himself worthy. For her to take the belt off is a very big deal for him, but she’s very cruel in revealing that it’s for Monstroso. See, she knows she’s going over the cliff, and she believes that the Ventures are going to be slaughtered. Molotov does nothing to change either of these outcomes. The chastity belt thing is just a way to crap on Brock one last time. And as I mentioned earlier, some people complained that the scene earlier with Molotov threatening the escort didn’t work if she was actually an assassin. Yeah, she looked freaked out, but her boss just pulled a blade on her. I think her reaction in that scene still works after all is said and done.
