–There is something fantastic about the end here, beside its sheer cynicism. Basically, none of the characters have any clear idea of what actually happened, so the whole episode is just random insanity that they can’t even begin to process.

In the tag, we see Hank in Mexico, lounging on the beach. And then we find out he’s just relaxing in the egg chair, listening to Sgt. Hatred’s Jimmy Buffett records. Doc walks in on him and the punishment begins anew.
