Venture Brothers — “The Better Man” Venture Bro

–That was an exciting opener! This, by the way, is the first time we’ve seen the Outrider, so we’ll all learn about him together. The demon in this scene is based on H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu, and the Outrider appears to be a parody of Robert E. Howard’s Solomon Kane. I haven’t read enough Howard to know if there are any more similarities than “Badass pilgrim”, but I’m pretty sure Solomon Kane didn’t have a flaming Hellhorse.
