Nothing will probably ever top the chemistry of the original cast, and it was wonderful to see many of them return to the show over these last several episodes. My personal favorite duo of Carter and Benton are just a joy to watch. We feel as if we know them because we’ve seen their relationship evolve from the beginning and it’s satisfying as a viewer to see their friendship today. And how great that they were able to get to the child who played Peter’s son, Reese, as a toddler to play him as a thirteen-year-old! I already lauded the Clooney/Margulies episode that aired last month as one of the series’ finest hours.
