Speaking of which, The Joshua Carter Center, a project that Noah Wyle’s character has been working on for several years on the show, finally came to fruition, and no doubt longtime viewers felt victorious for Carter. This was a child of privilege who truly wanted to give back to his city and the people who did not have access to the care his money could buy. His dedication and intentions have always come across as genuine and he’s a character we’ve seen go from boy to man…it’s always been his show, in a way. The torch was sort of passed to guest star Alexis Bledel (aka Rory Gilmore), who got the lion’s share of onscreen experiences that called back to Carter’s early years. And, she was excellent, making me wish she’d been here all along.
