Truly, They were an Aqua Teen Hunger Force

The MTV Movie Awards were once an awesome concept and a really fun show.  They had some silly categories like “Best Kiss” and “Best Fight” and they tended to honor the more popular movies that got overlooked by the Oscars.

Since it debuted however, the show has become more and more of a giant, 2 hour ad for new summer movies and what 12 year olds are buying on DVD and less about fun for anyone over 20.  That being said, there’s still almost always at least one good bit of sketch comedy or movie parody worth firing up the DVR for and sifting through.
