He needs to make physical contact with somebody in order to be able to copy their appearance. OK, I’ve been fuzzy about Sylar’s plan, mostly because the show hasn’t been helping me out, but now I’ve got it. He wants to meet the President, and then take over for him. Everybody ready?
In the car, Ma Petrelli wakes up with a start. She had a dream that Nathan’s in trouble. Bennet, meanwhile, has figured out that they’re headed for a roadblock. He sends Ma and Claire out to make a run for it, and he heads for the roadblock to buy them some time. Sure enough federal agents swarm Bennet. Ah, he can take ‘em.
