Eight Short Opinions About Recent Things

**If anybody is thinking of buying me a present, may I recommend the Complete Futurama packaged inside Bender’s head?I can’t actually justify the cost since I have all the DVD’s already, but man, that looks pretty sweet.

**In the season finale of Fringe, we see Walter Bishop standing at the grave of Peter Bishop (1978-1985), only Walter’s son Peter is alive and well and a Fringe regular.I’m kind of surprised that Fringe fandom has jumped to the conclusion that adult Peter is actually from the parallel universe where William Bell is hiding.I immediately assumed that the gravestone meant that adult Peter is a clone, either of the original Peter, or of Walter himself. We had clues to that effect from very early on in the series. So did I miss something really obvious?Either I’m smarter than everybody else, or I’m behind the curve.Traditionally, the latter is more likely. However, it might just be that The Venture Bros. has taught me that super-scientists always keep some clones of their children handy.
