Breaking Bad – Remember Lemonade Stand? If you were a child of the 80s and had access to a Commodore 64, you no doubt played this game for pee-wee entrepreneurs. You’d decide the quantities of supplies needed and then set the price for a glass of lemonade, based on the reported temperature for the day. And then you’d look at an ASCII-generated approximation of a lemonade stand for a minute while the Commodore ran the numbers. (Don’t look at me like that – the Internet didn’t exist yet. We were starved for entertainment options!) Only a few changes, and you’ve got yourself a Breaking Bad simulation. Obviously, it would be crystal meth instead of lemonade, but the principle is the same. And instead of the temperature, demand is partially determined by the proximity of Lynyrd Skynyrd cover bands. I can’t think of any reason why this isn’t available on AMC’s website right now, except that it’s a terrible idea.
