OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT IN PLAYING MULTIPLE VERSIONS OF THE SAME GUY – We have not made out love of Terry O’Quinn’s John Locke any secret over the years. And in the final season of Lost, he played the Locke we know and love, the Timeline X Locke who’s in a very different place in his life, and he played Look-a-Locke, the human form of the Smoke Monster. From quiet despair to maniacally homicidal, O’Quinn had to hit every emotion on the continuum at one time or another, and he did so in such a way that you could always tell which version of Locke he was playing at any given time. In a season of excellent performances, he stood out once again and kept us riveted.
