Not only did she save The Apprentice from being ridiculously boring, but she’s been outspoken in her defense of other contestants who were misrepresented on the show. Editing made Gene Folkes look like a buffoon, but Mahsa defended him online and helped expose the real Gene, a very intelligent man with an inspirational story. (His recent blog post, “The Impotent Billionaire”, is the most devastating takedown of Donald Trump that you’ll ever read.) With all the incompetence and self-promotion we’ve seen among reality contestants, Mahsa won our hearts by being awesome and helping us get a look behind the curtain and see that there’s more to the various Apprenti than what NBC shows us. SHARP DRESSED MAN AWARD–We learned a lot about Ron Swanson in 2010..how much he loves meat, deviled eggs and breakfast food; that he’s a “master caner” and a sleep fighter. But nothing was more awesome than the fact that on a day after Ron has sex, he dresses like Tiger Woods on the last day of a golf tournament, in a red polo and black pants. The runner up in this category is Cam from Modern Family, who proudly wore his incredibly inappropriate bike shorts at all the wrong times, much to his partner Mitchell’s dismay.
