It’s widely known that Steve Carell’s Michael Scott will be leaving The Office before the end of the season. What nobody seems to know just yet is who’ll be taking over as the manager of Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch. Will they promote from within or bring in some new blood? There have been some rumors of possible replacements, but either the producers are very good at keeping a secret or they haven’t decided yet. Either way, we’ve decided to take a look at the likely candidates and some of the more persistent rumors.
First, let’s take a look at the existing Dunder-Mifflinites. Obviously, Creed or Meredith isn’t taking over as manager, and they’ve already told that story with Jim. There are a few reasonable candidates, though.
