I hadn’t really been thinking too much about this, despite the press coverage of late, until I heard an afternoon drive radio show discussing the topic on Friday. The conversation was between host Mitch Albom and USA Today TV critic Robert Bianco. Albom admitted he didn’t care for Conan; didn’t think he was funny at all. Bianco didn’t agree with him, and then made an interesting point. He acknowledged that Conan’s quirky style might attract a smaller audience to the show, but it will be a younger one, so the network is OK with this. And, you know what? He’s probably right.
